Bio

Tanya is a Russian-born London-based artist, curator and researcher passionate about projects that broaden access to the arts through digital technology, sound and collaboration.

She currently works in the Learning & Research department at Tate for the Digital Learning programme which explores the use of technology to enhance learning with art and culture. She also looks after the Taylor Digital Studio at Tate Britain and curates monthly digital workshops for the Late at Tate.

As part of her practice she aims to demystify technological processes through participative formats. This has evolved most significantly since early 2017, when she co-founded Compiler, a platform for the production and presentation of new media art and critical discourse around digital technology.
